Shadetuff Zoysia is a premium turf breed that performs well across South East Queensland, especially Brisbane. This vibrant green turf is easy to maintain and requires little watering and sun to maintain its colour. The breed is a fantastic choice for projects that are in shaded areas however it is not recommended for lawns that are have high disruptive traffic, for example where children play.

Shadetuff Zoysia Fit for Purpose
Shadetuff zoysia has a higher tolerance to shade than Buffalo. It is also slow growing and can resist wear but will need fertilizing if it does become damaged.
It will grow in full sun but only requires 3-4 hours of sunlight each day. For this reason, it is great for courtyards, feature pieces, established gardens with trees or whole lawns and will withstand both Cold Winters and Hot Tropical Summers.
